Bothell Rec summer programs

   Ramblin' Rec is back with arts and crafts, games, and snacks for Bothell neighborhood kids. This is a free drop-in program (no registration required) which will continue throughout summer. Ramblin' Rec will be held at the following locations and times beginning June 20th: Monday & Wednesdays, 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Stipek Park and Woodin Elementary; Mondays & Wednesdays, 1:30-3:30 p.m. at Frank Love Elementary and Volunteer Park; Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Shelton View Elementary and Crystal Springs Elementary; Tuesdays & Thursdays, 1:30-3:30 p.m. at Brickyard Road Park.

   Mini-Hawks Sports Camp, for children ages 4-7, will introduce your child to soccer, baseball, and basketball, as well as team playing, Monday-Friday, June 26-June 30, 9 a.m.-noon, at Westhill Elementary School (19417 - 88th Ave. NE, Bothell). Fee is $81. Pre-registration is required.

   Soccer Camp, for children ages 6-14, teaches the fundamental skills of soccer using fun games and exercises. Camp to be held Monday-Friday, June 26-July 20, 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at Westhill Sportsfield (19417 - 88th Ave. NE, Bothell). Fee is $89. Pre-registration is required.

   Couple's Massage, for couples 18 and older, will teach you how to massage each other's shoulders, neck, and back. Class to be held on Thursday, June 22nd, 6:30-9:30 p.m. at the Adult Day Care Center (9929 NE 180th, Bothell). Pre-registration is required. Fee is $50/couple.

   Boys Only Babysitting Class for the young man, ages 11 and up, who would like to learn babysitting skills. Class to be held Friday and Saturday, June 23-24, 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Bothell City Hall Council Chambers (18305 - 101st Ave. NE). Pre-registration is required. Fee is $18/person for the two-day class.

   Scrapbooking Workshop gives you the time, space, and tools you need to complete your scrapbook projects. Workshop will be held every other Thursday, beginning June 29th, 6:30-9:30 p.m., at the Adult Day Care Center (9929 NE 180th, Bothell). Bring the entire family--kids can play at the park while mom and dad work on their projects. Cost is $50/family for 5 sessions, or $12/night.

   Single Parents Getaway Hike, for parents only, will give you the chance to socialize with other single parents and get some exercise in a beautiful setting. Meet at Bothell City Hall (18305 - 101st Ave. NE) on Sunday, June 25, 9 a.m. and caravan to Gold Bar for a hike to Wallace Falls. Free event; however, pre-registration is required.

   Do you love history? Then consider being a part of the traditional 4th of July Re-enactment of the Battle of Concord. This is fun "hands-on" learning. Volunteers are needed to be patriots and redcoats. Call (425) 486-7430.

   Attention, Teen Actors: open auditions for the play Oedipus Rex will be held Monday, June 26th, at 3 p.m. at the Park at Bothell Landing Amphitheater.
