Roetcisoenders

Anniversary: Roetcisoender

   John and Mary Lou Roetcisoender of Woodinville will celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary in July.

   The couple was married July 9, 1960, at Laurelhurst Presbyterian Church in Seattle. They have three sons, two daughters-in-law (soon to be three), and five grandsons.

   In addition to teaching at Cottage Lake Elementary School for 31 years, John operated a dairy farm in Duvall for 30 years. Mary Lou has been a homemaker.

   The Roetcisoenders enjoy camping, fishing, traveling and their grandchildren. They are active members of the Rose Hill Presbyterian Church.

Simmons-Barksdale

Engagement: Simmons-Barksdale

   Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Simmons of Woodinville announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Kimberlee, to Justin Barksdale, the son of Mrs. Linda Barksdale of Duvall. A July wedding is planned.

   Shannon is a 1999 graduate of Woodinville High School. She attended Bellevue Community College and is a church secretary in Duvall.

   Justin is a 1998 Cedarcrest High graduate and attended BCC. He is a meat cutter at Cherry Valley Family Grocer.
