| Please
accept my personal, heartfelt thanks for all the
community support I received while working on
my Girl Scout Gold Award this summer.
The project is complete, and I just received
the award. I want to thank Duvall Fire District
45 Fire Chief Lambert for agreeing to this project,
the painting of the Lake Margaret Fire Station,
along with Captain Burnside for his guidance
and daily help.
My painting crew included fellow Girl Scouts
Kiley Baker and Katie Hill, along with friends Anthony
Brevik, Rachel Dussell, Bill Wisham, Shannon
Unger, and my family, Ruth Dunn, Irvina,
Jim, and Jules Russell. Deserving of much appreciation
is Kevin Brevik, who led the way with his painting
knowledge and willingness to help me out.
A special thanks goes to GSR Rentals, for sponsoring this
project and to Troop 153 leaders Kim Howell
and Vickie Hill for their years of mentoring
in the troop. Thanks also to the community members
who stopped by while we were painting and came
to the open house and spoke of the interest
in making our community a better place.
As I leave for the Army Reserves at Ft. Jackson,
I will hold these summer memories close. Thanks
so much to all of you for helping me achieve
this goal.
