This week at the Carnation Farmers Market

New this week are fresh-baked pies and scones and more fruit. Melons are here, fresh and sweet. There are several varieties of yellow watermelon to choose from, organic pears, nectarines and peaches and at least 12 varieties of tomatoes. Blue potatoes, siam queen basil and gypsy peppers await, as well as edible flowers, just-baked breads and varietal honey.

The Farmers Market has a fabulous selection of organic, heirloom and unusual produce, all locally grown, fresh-picked and incredibly fresh. Live music every week. The market runs every Tuesday from 3-7 p.m. with great food and fine entertainment. Located in the heart of Carnation next to the Senior Center. For more information. call (425) 788-3089.
