Eleanor Robinson Wallis
If she could have, Eleanor Robinson Wallis
(87) would have written her own obituary, but
she ran out of time.
Wallis, a resident of Bothell for nearly 50
years, passed peacefully away Tuesday, Dec.
14, 2004, at Evergreen Hospice Center, Kirkland.
She was surrounded by loving family. A
retired Bothell High teacher, longtime journalist,
community activist and leader, she is survived
by brothers, Robert Bruce Robinson of Bellevue,
and Carl Allen of Bothell; five daughters and
their families (eight grandchildren): Linda
W., George, Lt. Thomas, Catherine Lamb of Olympia;
Robin, Bob, Bill and Mike of Sonora, Calif.;
Laurel, Ken Katahira, Matthew, Kenneth Anderson
of Mukilteo; Barbara, Wendy, Jennifer Kerwin
of Los Angeles; Heather, Pat Murphy of Leavenworth;
many nieces, a nephew, and numerous “adopted”
family.
A memorial service was held Dec. 27 at Northshore
Senior Center in Bothell. She requests
a rose be planted in her memory.
She had one last communication for the world:
“love, love, love, love. ”
