Works by Stuti Garg will be featured during
the month of February at Woodinville City Hall.
Stuti Garg has been named February’s
Artist of the Month by the Woodinville Park & Recreation
Department. She has created landscapes, seascapes,
portraits and abstracts.
Her work will be exhibited at the Woodinville
City Hall through the month of February.
Garg was born in India and moved to the
U.S. with her parents. She received her master
of science degree in business administration
from Strayer College in Washington, D.C.
She is married to a writer and they live
with their daughter in Woodinville.
Garg learned the art of henna application
as a young girl. Some of her work reflects
her talent in creating mehandi (henna) patterns.
During the International Festival in Ohio
(1996-2001) she created mehandi patterns.
The Lynnwood Senior Center displayed her
art in their 2003 Art Show.
Stuti has worked with ceramics, explored
the potter’s wheel, crochet and embroidery
which has given her a deeper understanding
of various mediums available. She has worked
with mixed media; such as marble chips on
wood, nib painting, glass painting, decoupage,
oil on canvas and fabric, acrylic, and water
colors.
