| House
of Bread, a neighborhood bakery in the new Mill
Creek Town Center, has announced its intentions
to publicly bake a cinnamon roll weighing more
than 250 pounds in an attempt that will be submitted
to Guinness for a world record status Saturday,
Oct. 15 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The public will
be invited at this point to eat pieces of the
roll.

has obtained a record claim number and a set
of guidelines from Guinness, and has determined
that all of the guidelines can be fulfilled.
In addition, a practice cinnamon roll was baked
Aug. 13 which was served to the public following
an informal weigh-in. The practice roll weighed
more than 250 pounds, measured 6 feet across,
was cooked completely through, and was gooey
and delicious.
A Guinness requirement is that the event be
done in public. This announcement is also a
request for the public to view the construction
of the roll Charitable donations may be requested
in exchange for participation in this small
bit of history. For info: (425) 385-8553 or
