Carnation strength training class begins Sept. 6

The kids will be back in school – isn’t it time for you to pay attention to you?

Come on over to the Sno -Valley Senior Activity Center, 4610 Stephens in Carnation, on Tuesday and Thursday nights and join in the fun with a fresh and challenging stability ball workout. These classes are specifically designed for the 40-plus crowd out there – men and women. New participant school district employees receive a special discount during the month of September in recognition of all they do for our kids.

Classes begin at 7 p.m. with an energizing warm-up and end at 8:15 with relaxation through deep breathing. In between, every major muscle group will be challenged through a comprehensive series of pilates-inspired and classic weight training moves utilizing the stability ball.

Bring your own ball and mat if you have one – a limited supply is available at the center; first come, first served. Weights are available on site.

American Council on Exercise (ACE) Certified Fitness instructor Paige Denison teaches this invigorating class. For more information, call (425) 788-3571 or email paigedenison@yahoo.com.
