Psychic ability class
Psychic and healer Sharee Clark will be teaching a 90-minute class at Gardens & SunSpaces Gallery in Duvall on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 2 p.m. The class will be “Awaking your Spiritual Ability to Know and to Heal.” Students will be learning how to clear the mind to bring calmness and clarity. Wine tasting
Saturday, Sept. 10, Matt Gubitosa of Animale will be at StateVines pouring his just released 2003 Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Animale is one of the state’s smallest wineries. Fall registration for Musikgarten classes
Register during August and September for fall classes. Musikgarten offers early childhood music and movement classes for children ages 0-5, pre-keyboard classes for kindergarteners, group keyboard classes for 1st and 2nd graders. Cedarcrest Select Girls Basketball grades 5-8 meeting
A meeting Sept. 21 at 6:30 p.m. in the CHS Library is for girls, parents and coaches interested in participating in the Cedarcrest Select Girls Basketball program. This program is available to girls in the Carnation/Duvall area who will feed into the high school program. Teams for 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade levels will be forming and playing in the Puget Sound Traveling League. The formation of teams, tryouts dates and times, costs and coaches for each team will be discussed. Coaches are still needed at each grade level. If you would like to coach any of these levels, please contact co-director Marc Hillestad at 844-4854 as soon as possible.

Golf tournament for Riverview Schools
On Saturday, Sept. 17, the Riverview Educational Foundation hosts its 7th Annual Golf Classic tournament to benefit the Riverview School District. The tournament is a shotgun scramble at the Trilogy Golf Course on Redmond Ridge, and golfers of all levels of ability are welcome. Price is $125, which includes dinner, 18 holes of golf, cart rental, door prizes, skills contests, an award ceremony and lots of fun. At the P&G
Saturday, September 10, is the debut of Jeff Zuber. Jeff has been playing guitar and writing songs for 30 years. He’s performed in cafés, colleges, county fairs and on harbor cruises. Over the last few years he’s enjoyed playing at open mikes when ever he can. He applies a syncopated style to his original songs as well as covers tunes from the likes of James Taylor, Elton John, Harry Chapin and others. Jeff likes to make every song his own. Dinner special is apple pork chops, orzo with mushrooms & walnuts & candied carrots, served up in a cozy, candle-lit café. Thursday, September 15, P&G will be celebrating the historic buildings in Old Town. The Historical Society has placed plaques on the historic buildings, and the P&G thought it was a good excuse for a party.

So if you are downtown between 5 and 7p.m., stop by for some appetizers, as well as an old fashioned blackberry pie contest. P&G Speakeasy Café is located at 15614 Main St. in Duvall.
