Riverview Schools Committee says thank you for the support

The Riverview Schools Committee would like to thank you for your tremendous support of our schools. Our Educational Programs Levy (M&O) and our Technology Levy both passed with a 69 percent YES vote! We all feel so fortunate to live in a community that understands the importance of supporting our schools.

We would especially like to thank Coldwell Banker Bain Realty in Duvall for allowing us to conduct several phone banks in their office throughout this campaign.

Having use of their facility was critical for our campaign, as we called over 2,100 households reminding people to vote.

We would also like to thank our Riverview School Board of Directors — Phil Gore, Greg Bawden, Carol VanNoy, Dan Pflugrath, and Dave Hunter — for their outstanding volunteer service and commitment to our students.

Many thanks also go to Superintendent, Conrad Robertson, and Director of Technology, Paul Censullo. It was a pleasure to work with our administrators during this campaign where we all witnessed first hand their hard work and dedication to the students and families in our district.

More than 40 people — parents, teachers, administrators, city officials, and students — volunteered in some capacity for this past levy campaign.

A majority or these people helped with the phone bank, but others aided the cause by posting and maintaining yard signs, addressing mailers, sign waving, organizing voter support lists, and speaking at various community and PTA events.

It is such a pleasure to work in a community where finding volunteers is as easy as sending an e-mail plea for help!

So, once again, THANK YOU Riverview voters and community for your continued support of our students and schools!
