Woodinville Police Dept. will host Citizen’s Academy

The Woodinville Police Department invites you to this year’s “Citizen’s Academy.”

Together with the King County Sheriff’s Office, Kenmore and Shoreline police departments, this program is designed to increase the understanding between citizens and law enforcement.

It is hoped that by the completion of the academy (10 weeks), citizens will gain a better understanding of the police, the criminal justice system and the challenges facing law enforcement in today’s society.

This class is limited to only 10 residents from Woodinville.

It will be held every Tuesday evening starting March 21 and ending May 23 from 6-9 p.m. at the King County Sheriff’s Office Precinct 2 in Kenmore.

If you wish to attend, contact Officer Doug Deppa at Woodinville and ask for an application. This will be on a first come basis. There is no cost for the classes.
