The Bothell Business Park Owners Association recently held their annual meeting and elected the following Board members: Michael L. Windus of Razore Land Co., President; Dave Lamont of CCD Enterprises, Inc., Executive Vice President; Frank M. Paiva of The Seattle Times, Vice President; Sven Goldmanis of Regency Group, Inc., Treasurer and Chris Eckmann of RREEF, Secretary. The Bothell Business Park, located at 195th St. and North Creek Parkway, is home to many businesses including The Seattle Times, Cingular Wireless, Allstate Insurance, Group Health, the YMCA and Country Inn & Suites. The Bothell Business Park also includes four ballparks dedicated to The City of Bothell. The Association is managed by Anne Heartsong of AEA Accounting and Management Services.

Renowned nursing leader joins Evergreen Healthcare
Evergreen Healthcare is pleased to welcome Mary Jim Montgomery as its new senior vice president for Patient Care Services.

Montgomery joins Evergreen following five years as the chief operating officer for Bay Medical Center in Panama City, Fla. Prior to that, she held several leadership roles with the Baptist Health System in Alabama.

Montgomery earned her bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Alabama in Birmingham, and her masters in business administration from Samford University – also in Birmingham. She is an active member of the American Organization of Nurse Executives, the American College of Healthcare Executives, and many other national and regional professional organizations.

The search process for a senior vice president for Patient Care Services was a national search involving a screening process by staff, managers, administrators and medical staff leaders with the assistance of a nationally recognized recruitment agency.

Village Dentistry opens on Redmond Ridge
Dr. Arne Ness, DDS, is pleased to announce the opening of his new office, east of Redmond, at 23515 NE Novelty Hill Road. Edward Jones to open additional office In Woodinville
The financial services firm Edward Jones plans to open another office in Woodinville. Alan Nelson has been hired as the investment representative for the new office. Edward Jones provides investment advice and financial services for individual investors in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom. Edward Jones is headquartered in St. Louis. The Better Business Bureau announced its 2005 Businesses of the Year at an awards luncheon at the Westin Hotel in Seattle.

Westhill Inc. building contractors located in Woodinville was presented with the small business Customer Service Award.

Pacific Aluminum adds staff to meet growing demand
Pacific Aluminum, a regional manufacturer of commercial glazing systems, has hired five new employees. In an effort to continue its growth plan, Pacific Aluminum is adding two employees in engineering and three in sales and estimating.

Pacific Aluminum provides commercial aluminum glazing systems throughout the western United States. The company manufactures its products at its state-of-the-art facility in Woodinville.

William “Willie” Evans joins Pacific Aluminum as sales manager. Evans’ background includes six years in sales management; at his last position he increased sales by 35%. Evans will lead the sales team for Pacific Aluminum.

Ron Landon is now chief engineer at Pacific Aluminum. With more than 10 years’ experience as design engineer for Technical Glass Products, Herzog Aluminum and The Boeing Company, Landon will be responsible for curtain wall, window and door drawings and design.

Gene Davis comes to Pacific Aluminum as engineer in research and development. With 32 years in the fenestration industry specializing in commercial and residential aluminum window products, his experience includes design, manufacturing, machining and installation. Davis previously worked for Herzog Aluminum, Fenpro Building Products and Walters & Wolf Curtainwall.

Dennis Pickner will serve as chief estimator at Pacific Aluminum. Pickner has more than 23 years’ experience in commercial glazing, and spent the past 13 years as senior project manager at Eastside Glass.

Tracey Rogers has more than 12 years of experience in the glazing industry and returns to Pacific Aluminum as storefront estimator. Rogers previously worked as project manager for Pacific Aluminum and has also worked for Courtesy Glass and Eastside Glass.
