New meeting day for Bothell City Council

At its regular meeting on March 6, Bothell City Council adopted a revised ordinance to move its regular meetings and study sessions to Tuesday evenings from the 1975 Council-established Monday evening.

Beginning on May 2, Bothell City Council meetings will officially move to Tuesday nights and will remain at 6 p.m. located in the City of Bothell Municipal Court (10116 NE 183rd Street). Council meetings will be held on the first, second and third Tuesday of each month (schedule is subject to change).

Meetings that fall on a legal holiday will be held on the fourth Tuesday of that same month.

“This move is a positive one for Council, staff and our community,” said City of Bothell City Manager Bob Stowe. “Oftentimes, City Council reviews their Council meeting materials each weekend prior to an upcoming meeting and sometimes questions arise or other information is needed.

“By allowing City staff an additional day to research any issues will only provide better service and the best information to the Council and ultimately, the citizens.”
