View cover (March 13) must have been taken
around the time my wife and I were driving
across the Valley on our way home from teaching
school.
However, we first noticed the rainbow when
looking with disgust at the old “David
Irons” sign from last November. There
were also old CAO signs. They now look like
litter.
We try to teach our children about democracy
and being responsible citizens. We tell them
to clean up after themselves and not to litter.
My wife and I do not think the followers
of David Irons and the no CAO care about
cleaning up after themselves.
It was hard to appreciate the beauty of
the rainbow with all that litter on the telephone
poles.
