fiddle maestro and Lake Forest Park native
Darol Anger and his ground-breaking Republic
of Strings take string band music to places
it’s rarely been, Saturday, April 15
at 8 p.m. at the Northshore Performing Arts
Center.
Violinist and composer Anger is famous as
a creator of innovative string techniques.
As one of the most influential fiddlers of
the 20th century, his style and rhythmic
innovations have changed fiddling all over
the globe.
