Canyon Park wins first place at NW Science Olympiad

Canyon Park Junior High School earned a first place finish overall in the Northwest Science Olympiad Regional Competition Saturday, March 4. With 26 teams participating, Canyon Park took top honors in 19 of the 23 events. This now qualifies the team to advance to the state finals at Eastern Washington University in Cheney, on April 8.

Coaches, Seila Guard and Jeff Armentrout are extremely impressed by the ability of this year’s group to work as a team. This along with hard work and effort has earned Canyon Park the title of Northwest Regional science Olympiad Champion.
