| The
Municipal League has announced that it is seeking
nominees for a $1,000 scholarship to a civically
active youth, sponsored by Dick’s Drive-In
Restaurants.
King County high school juniors or seniors
are invited to submit a resume-formatted
description about how their participation
in their community has made a significant
impact. Submissions will be reviewed by a
panel of civic activists, who will select
a student who best conveys the depth of their
civic participation and their impact on the
community. The winning scholar will be honored
at the League’s annual Civic Awards
event. Submissions are due by Monday, May
15 to:
