Mailboxes
gone through overnight
June 4: An officer was dispatched to the
20200 block of 130th Court NE where a pile
of mail had been found in the road. Rain
and traffic had destroyed most of it, and
the officer also found that many of the mail
boxes in the area were either partially or
completely open. It appears that unknown
suspects had gone through mailboxes and discarded
junk mail in the street during the night.
There is no further information at this time.
A sometimes angry neighbor is unsettling
to family
June 5: A man drove into his driveway and
as he got out of the car he heard his neighbor
call him names and threaten to do him bodily
harm. The driver went in to ask his wife to
witness the neighbor’s verbal assault.
This incident lasted approximately five minutes,
but was not an isolated incident. The man’s
son had been verbally attacked on three different
occasions. According to the man filing the
complaint, it is alarming to his entire family
because they don’t know if the neighbor
will be threatening and angry or will be
meek, almost shy. He has requested in writing
to have a no contact order and is planning
to file charges. There is no further information
at this time.

JUNE 3: A Ford truck was clocked going 10
miles over the limit as it sped by the
patrol car in a Carnation school zone.
The driver had an expired driver’s
license, expired license plate, expired
registration and no insurance. Dispatch
brought up that she was driving with a
License Suspended 3rd degree. She did have
a dog in the vehicle who was taken into
custody by her friend. The vehicle was
impounded and traffic citations issued.
JUNE 3: Mailboxes were vandalized. One of
the victims reported that hers had no mail
in it and the damage was not interfering
with the use of the box. Photos were taken.
No mail theft has been reported, lessening
the fear of identity theft.
JUNE 7: A head-on collision occurred in
Duvall with one of the drivers complaining
of back pain and the other driver crying
and very upset. Both vehicles had damage.
Driver 2 claimed the right-of-way because
she was more than halfway through the intersection
before she struck Driver 1.
However, Driver l claimed she had the right-of-way
because she pulled to the stop line first
and was at a stop when struck by Driver 2.
This occurred as they met at the intersection
at NE Stephens St and NE 3rd avenue. The
collision was witnessed by someone who said
the impact was strong enough to cause Driver
2 to bounce backwards. Medical aid checked
the participants and the accident scene was
cleared. Only one vehicle was drivable on
its own steam.
JUNE 8: An anti-harassment order might have
inspired someone to select a person’s
car windows to be written on with “Stupid
.....” and “He’s cheating
on you!”. A person-of-interest had
recently been issued an anti-harassment order
and is a possible suspect. The victim asked
that this be documented for possible further
use.
JUNE 8: A Ford truck was noticed missing
windows and had a broken windshield. The
driver also had a suspended license for unpaid
tickets and was well known to police but
he said, “I am this close to getting
my license back.”
However, in the meantime, he was photographed,
fingerprinted, put under arrest for Driving
with License Suspended for unpaid tickets,
and the vehicle was impounded.
JUNE 10: A male who is well-known to the
police for driving without a license came
into view. The driver is known for being
a habitual traffic offender. When asked why
he was driving, he answered that he needed
to make a living and was hungry. The officer
explained that he was driving while his license
was suspended. His answer was, “I know.” He
was given a new address ... the Issaquah
jail.
JUNE 11: A female had been stopped for the
second time in three days. When she exited
the vehicle to go into a store in Carnation,
dispatch revealed that she was still under
a Driving With License Suspended charge.
When she came out of the store, police contact
was made and advised that she was under arrest.
She became very upset and asked that the
policeman leave so she could drive away.
She continued stating that she knew she was
suspended and she only drove to Carnation
so she could get gas for her car.
With a policeman on either arm and against
her objections, handcuffs were installed
as she continued in her angry mode. Her car
was towed.
