Redmond
technology entrepreneur Tim Lee announced recently
that he is running as a Republican to represent
the 45th District in the Washington State House
of Representatitives against incumbent Representative
Larry Springer.
Lee says that he is running
on three key issues: making the state live
within a budget,
improving the education system and untangling
traffic congestion.“As the owner of
a growing small business, I understand the
importance of working within a budget and
making financially responsible decisions.
We need to stop the spending spree in Olympia
that continues to push the state budget into
the red. I have also witnessed the burden
that our community carries with traffic gridlock
and tension-filled commutes. I want to give
my community their family time back.”
The 45th District includes Kirkland, Redmond,
Woodinville, Carnation, Duvall and rural
King County.
