Area fire units responded Sept. 5 to a two-alarm
fire at Children’s Therapy of Woodinville,
located in a business park in the 17300 block
of 135th Ave. NE.
On Tuesday, Sept. 5, a fire
broke out at Children’s
Therapy of Woodinville, located in a business
park building at the 17300 block of 135th Ave.
NE.
The 911 call was made at approximately 6:30
p.m. One employee was in the office at the
time, but evacuated quickly.
Other businesses were also evacuated, including
a taekwon do class next door.
Fire units from Woodinville, Redmond, Kirkland,
Bothell, Kenmore, and Shoreline were called
in to extinguish the two alarm fire.
Additional units were brought in from Snohomish
County District 7 and Duvall to staff Woodinville
Fire stations during the fire in case of other
911 calls.
Fire damage was contained to the office space
in which the fire started. Adjoining offices
sustained minor smoke damage. The fire took
approximately 30 minutes to bring under control.
There were no injuries associated with the
fire. The fire was ruled accidental by the
King County Fire Marshals office.
