OCT. 4: In the 4500 block of 325th Ave. in Carnation it was reported that a credit card had charges of $400 on it that were not authorized. The bank was notified.

OCT. 7: In the 26500 block of NE Cherry Valley Rd. a forced entry was made but the suspect had fled the scene when officers arrived. Fingerprints were recovered from the point of entry and charges are pending.

OCT. 8: In the 15800 block of Main St. of Duvall a speeding vehicle was reported. Driver of the vehicle had a warrant out of Spokane for DUI. He was arrested and booked into the King County jail.

Lunchtime attempted burglary
Oct. 5: Two officers were dispatched to an attempted burglary at a cosmetic dentistry office located in the 14000 block of NE Woodinville-Duvall Rd. The deadbolt on the front door had been tampered with, most likely with a screwdriver during the lunch break. Nothing was taken and the suspect(s) were not successful in actually breaking into the office area. No one saw or heard anything and there is no further information at this time.

Suggestive phone calls
Oct. 6: A woman called police to report that since August she has received approximately 10 phone calls from more than one caller who make inappropriate sexual comments.

In July she received a greeting card that was also suggestive in nature. She told police she does not know who might be doing this, but she wanted to report it as a matter of record.

There is no further information at this time.

Quick getaway
Oct. 6: At approximately 2:15 a.m., a male suspect entered a convenience store, walked to the refrigerated case, picked up an 18-pack of beer from the cooler and then ran from the store.

He jumped into red vehicle whose license plate numbers began with 83.

There are videos available of the incident, but the clerk reporting the incident said only the manager had access. There is no further information at this time.

Stepping stones stolen
Oct. 7: Neighbors in the 17300 block of 135th Ave. NE called police to report 10 concrete stepping stones missing from the common area they had just spent $600 and time to beautify.

The stones were worth approximately $100. There is no further information at this time.
