Children’s Hospital in Seattle has received donations from thousands of customers at TOP Food & Drug stores.Customers purchased paper balloons, available May 2-15 at checkout lines for a donation of $1 apiece. The donations of $57,346 were sent to Children’s Hospital & Regional Medical Center to support uncompensated care, enabling children to receive medical care regardless of their family’s ability to pay.

Founded in 1907, last year Children’s Hospital provided $41.7 million in uncompensated care. For information: www.seattlechildrens.org.
