Krista Anderson, first grade teacher at Wilder Elementary School in Woodinville, won Star 101.5’s Teacher of the Week.

She was the 12th and final Teacher of the Week this year. She was surprised Friday, June 1, in her classroom with Ana Kelly from Star 101.5 and Ronald McDonald. They presented her with a plaque for her classroom and $100. They also provided snacks and gift bags for each of the children in her class.

Anderson will be entered in a drawing, along with the other 11 winners this year, for a new car. Each of the 12 Teachers of the Week will be brought together and given a key. One of them will start the new car.

She was nominated by Chris Holt and Keenan Ganz of her class.

Chris wrote: “She is the best teacher ever. She gives us pride awards, she challenges us with hard math problems and she always looks nice. I hope my sister gets her when she is in the first grade. She also likes hot wheels just like me.”
