Barney is an adorable 4 1/2-year old who loves to stay active. He has a nice poodle coat and all the personality of a Jack Russell terrier!

Barney enjoys chewing on toys and rawhides and he even likes to carry socks around in his mouth! His handsome markings have earned him the nickname of Rocco the Raccoon and he loves to entertain you with his antics.

Homeward Pet Adoption Center is a nonprofit, no kill animal shelter based out of Woodinville.

Their mission is to involve our community in providingcare for homeless cats and dogs until permanent homes are found, and to help alleviate animal overpopulation by spaying and neutering.

Homeward is located in the north side of the Clearwater Spa Building at 18800 Woodinville-Snohomish Road.

Adoption hours are Wednesday through Friday from 2-7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 12-6 p.m.
