WAWONA photos to be featured

Bothell Historical Society will present a unique photographic presentation and discussion on the renowned schooner, WAWONA, by award-winning author Joe Follansbee Monday, Sept. 24, at the Lytle House (next to the Bothell Museum) at the Park at Bothell Landing.

Doors open at 6:30; program begins at 7

Follansbee wrote “Shipbuilders, Sea Captains, and Fishermen: the story of the schooner WAWONA.”

It details the fascinating, 109-year history of the endangered schooner, WAWONA, now berthed at Lake Union Park in Seattle.

WAWONA is an official city and state landmark and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
