Jack
is a wonderful five year old who has been looking
for a permanent home for far too long.
His original
owner passed away two years ago and family
members took Jack in. While
they tried to care for him as best they could,
they weren’t prepared for a dog and
Jack ended up being alone for 14 hours a
day. He was kept outside in a kennel run
and just wasn’t receiving the attention
and exercise he deserved. This handsome fellow
with a long, silky coat and beautiful grin
loves to stay active and enjoys his daily
walks and occasional jogs.
He will make an excellent running partner!
He also hops right into the car, and will
be a great companion to take to the dog park.
Jack has nice manners, walks well on leash
and gets along well with other dogs. He can
be wary towards strangers at first, but once
he gets to know you Jack is a true snuggle
bug! He enjoys affectionate hugs and loves
to be brushed.
Jack is available at Homeward Pet Adoption
Center. Hours are 2 to 7 p.m. Wednesday through
Friday and noon-6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Volunteers are needed to help walk dogs and
care for the many homeless cats and kittens.
If you have a few spare hours a week, please
fill out a volunteer application! Opening
up your heart and home by becoming a foster
parent will also help to save many more wonderful
pets like Jack.
