Vincent Felice is a man with a passion for farming.
Vincent Felice is a man with a passion for
farming. Unlike many farmers who have grown
up on farms and seem to have farming blood in
them since birth, Felice’s own exposure
to this lifestyle and profession didn’t
come until much later in his life.
After studying identity politics at Evergreen
State College and realizing that academia was
not the right direction for him, Felice spent
some time traveling on his own. He eventually
moved to a farm for a summer to do an internship,
as a way to live cheaply for a period of time.
“Though I didn’t like the place,
I found I really liked the work,” explains
Felice. “I liked being outdoors, doing
something physical and engaging with the land.
It made me feel good and motivated me to learn
more about farming.”
