Louella “Lou” Fisher was born April 25, 1956 in Seattle, Washington to Henry Spitler.
She was raised in Redmond, Washington by Frank and Earlene VanHorn, where she also graduated from Redmond High School.
Lou married Steve Fisher in Duvall on March 17, 1978. She died December 19, 2007 in Carnation. She considered herself a lifelong resident of the Carnation/Duvall area.
Throughout her life Mrs. Fisher was a homemaker, a receptionist at C & F Auto Wrecking for eight years and a food server and cashier at Stillwater Elementary for nine years. She was a devoted Seahawk and Mariner fan. She enjoyed playing guitar, cooking, camping, boating and spending time with her family.
She was very giving and donated a lot to charity. Mrs. Fisher will be remembered as a loving wife and mother; always there for those who needed her. She donned a great sense of humor. Her friends and family will miss her. Survivors include her husband, Steve Fisher; daughters, Tracy Fisher, Kasey Fisher (Jeff Erfle) and Samantha Fisher; sisters, Paula Fisher, Sandra Fagerlie and Jane Albrecht; and special companion buddy, “Joey the Chihuahua.”
A graveside memorial service was held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Carnation City Cemetery. A reception followed at Duvall Highlands, 28000 NE 142nd Place, Duvall.
