On Saturday, April 5, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m., the Northshore YMCA will offer a fun, hands-on financial management class designed for families with children ages 7-11 at the Northshore YMCA, 11811 NE 195th St. in Bothell.

Through games, activities and informal discussions, participants will explore saving, spending and sharing. The activities in the Money Strong Families class are based on Washington Mutual community educational materials. Each family will receive a creative learning tool that will help children grasp three basic concepts of financial management plus fun door prizes, take home activities and resources for continuing fun at home.
