The Riverview Education Foundation would like to invite the community to join REF board members on either Monday, March 31 from 7-8 p.m. or Wednesday, April 2 from 1-2:30 p.m., for a cup of free coffee and treats, courtesy of Starbucks at the Duvall Starbucks.

This is an informal meet and greet for us to get to know each other. REF is a non-profit organization that serves the Riverview School District. We award grants to teachers and schools to benefit our students in the district. These grants enhance many aspects of education, including math, science, PE, music, reading and writing. We also fund-raise through our annual events: the Classic Golf Tournament, the “Evening for Education” Auction/Dinner and the “REF Runs for Riverview” Turkey Trot.

The purpose of this meet and greet is to give folks in our community a chance to find out more about REF and for our board to learn what we can do to help grow our foundation. We hope you will stop by on one or both of these days and enjoy a cup of coffee and good conversation with REF board members.
