Kristy Sullivan, Tristan Atkinson and Ben Olson attended the Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America conference in Washington, DC in February.
“There is a difference between someone who says they are going to make a difference and someone who does something to make the difference. I am a person who chooses to do something about drugs, and being safe. I have helped others. I am a leader.” –Tristan Atkinson
“I feel as if it is my duty to do something about the ever-growing drug culture in our community … I’ve seen far too many classmates throw away promising athletic potential and intelligence by abusing either alcohol or drugs. I would like to change the alarming causality with which they drink alcohol or use drugs.” –Ben Olson

The Duvall Farmers Market is looking for key players to make its third season a symphony worth remembering (and you don’t even have to be musically inclined.)
“It takes a lot of people to put on a community event like a market,” stated Laurie Gilbertson, market director. “We have a lot of assignments and roles that we need people to take on.”
