Community members needed for opening segment
‘My Home Town’ TV producers are currently in Carnation filming for their new show which airs on cable TV throughout the month of June. They will be filming their opening segment at the first day of the Carnation Farmers Market on Tuesday, May 13th at 3 p.m.
As many community members as possible are asked to gather together to shout out, “Welcome to my hometown, Carnation.” It will make for a wonderful opening for the 2008 market season, and show the world the town’s community pride. Everybody is welcome, whether you live in Carnation or are a visitor.
My Home Town is a show that focuses on ‘what’s going right,’ with journalist and host Dorothy Wilhelm, and is a light-hearted, optimistic magazine format show. Over the course of nine years more than 50 towns have been featured. Come to the market on Tuesday at 3:00 to help tell the world about Carnation.
