Memorial services for Wayne (Rick) Moore will be held Sunday, May 18, at 2 p.m. at the Sammamish Valley Grange, 14654 148th Ave. NE in Woodinville. Rick was born Aug. 28, 1940, in Corning, Iowa. He died May 4, 2008, in Kirkland, Wash.

He played football for and graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in engineering. He served with the U.S. Navy in Vietnam and later owned a general contracting business until his retirement at the age of 64.

His favorite pastimes included fishing and gardening. He was a “people person” and loved to talk.

Rick is survived by his wife, Judy, and his extended family in Missouri, Iowa, Texas and Arizona.
