Jacobson ~ Williams

IanJacobson.LauraWilliamsBrenda Vanderloop and Paul Jacobson are happy to announce the engagement of their son, Ian Jacobson, to Laura Williams, daughter of Hon. Matthew Williams and Dr. Patricia Read-Williams.

Ian was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, grew up in Woodinville attending Woodinville High School (class of 2000) and is a 2004 graduate of University of Puget Sound. Laura was born in Blair, Nebraska and grew up in Auburn, Washington. She attended Auburn High School (class of 2005), is a 2009 graduate of University of Montana and holds a master’s degree from University of Washington-Tacoma.

The two, who met at a local political meeting in 2010, share their love of math, science and Harry Potter. Ian is a union representative for UFCW Local 21 and Laura is a high school math teacher in the Bellevue School District.
The couple own a home in Kent and will be married in Bellevue, Washington in July.

Sean and Lauri Lanter of Woodinville are excited to announce the engagement of their son, Tully Erik Lanter, to Karla Camille “Kaycee” Sevilla of Quezon City, Philippines, daughter of Felizardo and Lorna Sevilla, on August 13, 2014.

Tully grew up in Woodinville, graduating from Inglemoor High School (2006), Seattle Pacific University (summa cum laude 2010) and Pepperdine University (2014). Kaycee studied at Ateneo de Manila University and later earned her MBA from the Asian Institute of Management, also in Manila.

The two met at Pepperdine in October of 2012, when Tully was pursuing his MBA and MPP and Kaycee was studying abroad. The couple are thrilled to announce their marriage at First Free Methodist Church in Seattle this July, and will settle in Redmond immediately thereafter.

EngageChloe and Ron

Jim and Heidi Wilson are thrilled to announce the engagement of their daughter, Chloe Wilson, to Ron Sommers III, son of Kim and Ron Sommers, Jr.

Chloe grew up in Woodinville, attending the Overlake School in Redmond (class of ’09). She is a 2013 graduate of Santa Clara University. Ron is originally from Highland Park, Illinois, and graduated from Boston College in 2013. The two met while serving as Jesuit Volunteers in Omak, Washington after college.

Ron and Chloe currently reside in Chicago, Illinois where Ron attends the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine. Chloe begins study at Loyola University Chicago School of Law this fall as the recipient of the prestigious Civitas ChildLaw Fellowship. The happy couple will be married in Snohomish, Washington in July.
