Wofl ~ Nevers

Engagement WolfJack and Brenda Wolf of Woodinville are very pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Jessica, to James Nevers, son of John and Suzanne Nevers of Spokane.

Jessica is a 2006 graduate of Woodinville High School and a 2010 graduate of the University of Washington with a bachelor of arts degree in economics. She is currently working toward a master’s degree in international business from Seattle University and will graduate in 2013. She works as a consultant for Arryve Consulting in Bellevue. James is a 2008 graduate of New Mexico Military Institute and a 2010 graduate of the University of Washington with a bachelor of science degree in business administration/finance. He is also a 2012 graduate of Texas Tech where he earned a masters of science  degree in personal financial planning. He is currently working for Soundmark Wealth Management in Kirkland.

The couple met while attending the University of Washington.  They will be married July 2013 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho and plan to reside in Kirkland.

Powell ~ Mitchell

engagement PowellMatthew and Cindy Powell of Woodinville, Washington are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Powell, to Zachery Mitchell.

Zac is the son of Karen and Charles Mitchell, also of Woodinville.Katie graduated from Seattle Pacific University in 2011.

She is currently a graduate student at SPU and will finish her masters of arts in teaching in June of 2013.

Zac is a senior at Cornish College of the Arts.

He will graduate with a degree in music composition in December of 2012.

Katie and Zac are both 2007 graduates of Woodinville High School.

They first met as 3 year olds in preschool and continue to color outside the lines.

They will be married in November of 2012.

McKenney ~ Rund

vvJared7Denise and Keith McKenney of Duvall are very pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Diane Rae McKenney, to Jared Michael Rund, son of Barbara and Jonathan Rund of Waukegan, IL.

Diane is a ’05 graduate of Cedarcrest High School, holds a bachelor’s degree from Gonzaga, and will graduate from Eastern Washington University with a doctorate in physical therapy in June.

Jared is an ’05 graduate of Warren Township High School in Gurnee, IL and an ’09 graduate of University of Illinois in Champaign, IL. He is a First Lieutenant in the US Air Force currently deployed in Afghanistan and has orders to be stationed in Germany.

Diane and Jared met on a climb to the top of Mt Rainier in August of 2010. The couple created an everlasting bond after being stuck in a blizzard through the night. A July 2012 wedding is planned in Duvall, and then the couple’s first journey will be to Germany.

Lewis ~ Brethauer

Engagement LewisRichard and Laura Kielowski of Houston, Texas, are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kate Lewis, to Jack Brethauer, son of Donna Brethauer now of Redmond and Jay Brethauer of Arnold, Calif..

Kate is an associate in sales and trading at Barclays Capital.  She received her undergraduate degree in economics from University of Southern California in 2002.

Jack is a senior consultant at Deloitte Consulting in the strategy and operations practice.  He is a 2004 graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, and graduated from Woodinville High School in 2000. The couple met while completing their MBA degrees at the UCLA Anderson School of Management.  They reside in New York City and plan to wed next year in California.

Badurik ~ Schmoll

Engagement SchmollGuess who’s getting hitched?

Please congratulate Erin Elizabeth Badurik and Nathaniel William Schmoll on their engagement.

The two will exchange vows on June 9, 2012, in Snohomish, Wash.

Erin is the daughter of Rebecca and Greg Badurik of New Castle, Pennsylvania. She is a graduate of Grove City College in Grove City, Pennsylvania, class of 2005.

She is currently an intern at Eastlake Church in Bothell.

Nate is the son of Pam and Steve Schmoll of Woodinville.

Nate graduated from Woodinville High School and the University of Washington class of 2008.

He works in Bellevue as a systems engineer for a local software company.

In “Fiddler on the Roof,” there is a song that perfectly fits Nate and Erin with the words: “Matchmaker matchmaker make me a match, find me a find, catch me a catch.”

The couple plan to honeymoon in Florida and will make their home in Redmond.
