Roemer-Matthies

Mattheis v2Larry and Sally Roemer, of Sarasota, Fla., are pleased to announce the marriage of their daughter, Jenny Roemer, to Nick Matthies. Nick is the son of Mark and Donna Matthies, of Woodinville, Wash.

The wedding took place on June 29, 2013, in Fort Collins, Colo.The ceremony was held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, followed by a reception at the Fort Collins Country Club. Emily Roemer, also of Sarasota, Fla., was Jenny’s maid of honor. Jamie Geerdes, Christine Huber, Morgan Hornsby, and Kara Matthies served as bridesmaids.

Nick’s best man was Eric Fullmer, of Jacksonville, Ariz., with Chas Sweitzer, James Hinterlong, Davis Fischer and Andy Ferguson serving as groomsmen. The flower girl was Amy Cushing, and Ben Bissmeyer was the couple’s ring bearer.

Jenny and Nick met in 2006 in Fort Collins, Colo., where they were both students at Colorado State University (CSU).

Jenny received both her B.S. in natural resource recreation and tourism (2010) and M.S. in human dimensions of natural resources (2012) from CSU. Nick graduated with a B.S. in geology from CSU in 2010. He is now working on his master’s degree in geology at the Colorado School of Mines. The couple currently resides in Denver, Colo.

Kollmann-Fullmer

Engagement Kollmannv2David and Marilyn Fullmer are happy to announce the engagement of their son, Christopher, to Andrea Kollmann.

Chris graduated from Woodinville High School in 2004. 

He is employed in the U.S. Air Force and currently lives in Charleston, S.C.

Andrea is the daughter of Tom and Jane Kollmann of Savannah, Georgia. She graduated from Oklahoma State University and is employed as a child development teacher in Charleston.

An April 2014 wedding is planned at Middleton Plantation, Charleston.

Leaper ~ Isaacs

Engagement LeaperPhoto by Jennifer Guzman PhotographyChristina Berglund Leaper and Eric E. Isaacs are engaged to be married in October of this year. They will be married at Rainier Beach Presbyterian Church where Christy’s parents were also married. 

The reception will follow in the Chinese Room at the top of the Smith Tower in Seattle. 

The bride to be is the daughter of Phyllis Berglund and the late Walter Berglund of Woodinville. 

The groom is the son of Dale and Addie Isaacs of Woodinville.

The couple met in third grade at Wellington Elementary where their third grade teacher is still teaching.

They attended junior high together at Leota and graduated together from Woodinville High School in the class of 1988. 

Eric and Christy are currently residing in Woodinville.

Havens ~ Hovland

Engagement Havens

Kelly Havens and Christopher Hovland have announced their engagement to be married on August 18, 2013, in Edmonds, Wash.

Kelly grew up in Kirkland and went to Juanita High School. Chris grew up in Edmonds and graduated from Edmonds-Woodway High School. The couple met at Top Foods where they both work and currently live in Woodinville.

Felice - Simpson

Dr. and Mrs. Conrad Felice of Woodinville, Wash., announce the engagement of their daughter, Allyson Elizabeth Felice, to Jeffrey Michael Simpson, son of Lana and Michael Knight of Waveland, Ind.

The couple met at Purdue University, in West Lafayette, Ind. The future bride is pursuing a degree in clinical neuropsychology from the University of Kentucky. The future groom received his bachelor of science in aeronautical engineering. He is currently working for Belcan Engineering as an aerospace engineer.

A September 2014 wedding is planned at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Ky.
