June was born in England on July 2, 1930 in the Village of Anlaby to Amy and Charles Wilkinson. She passed away June 29, 2014 at her home, cared for by her husband, son and daughter.

June grew up in England and was proud of her heritage. Surviving World War II, she met her husband of 60 years, Cliff, while he was a soldier stationed in England during the Korean War. At the age of 24, June married Cliff in England and moved to America. She had three children — Suzie, Sandra, and John — and was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by four grandchildren — David, Jeremy, Dylan and Quin, all of who affectionately referred to her as “Nana.”

Her passions were painting, gardening, sewing, and spending time with her family. She was also President of Aglow, worked in a doctor’s office and was a homemaker. She enjoyed volunteering, including being a Girl Scout leader, a school room mother and teaching children about art.

She will always be remembered as a kind, patient, and caring person with a great sense of humor and strong faith in God. She will be greatly missed.
