Merrill ~ Smith

Wedding SmithThe beautiful beach at the Valentin Imperial Maya in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, was the setting on May 27, 2012, when Ashley Elizabeth Merrill wed Sam Oaks Smith.

Maid of honor was Lauren Jackson and bridesmaids were Laura Cox, Kia du Nann, Chelsey Funis, Kayla Sleight and Kristy Smith.

Best man was Skeet Smith and groomsmen were Jonathan Merrill, Cole Mansfield, Tyler Peyton, Matt Schrimpt and Matt Stewart.

The bride is the daughter of Denise and Randy Rankin of Woodinville and Jeff Merrill of Kirkland.

She is a 2005 graduate of Woodinville High School and a 2009 graduate of Washington State University.  She received her masters degree in public health and nutrition from University of Texas Health Science Center.  Ashley is currently employed as a pediatric dietician at Texas Childrens’ Hospital in the Texas Medical Center.

The groom is the son of Stacy and Saundra Smith of Dallas, Texas. He is a graduate of Winston High School in Dallas and Westminster College in Fulton, Mo.

Sam is employed as a senior account executive for Pointsmith, a company started by his grandfather in 1947.

The couple were blessed by many friends and family who attended their destination wedding. After their honeymoon in Costa Rica, the couple settled into their new home in Houston.

Egge - Lasser

Wedding EggeAmanda Marie Egge was married to Jed Eric Lasser at Urban Light Studios on Greenwood Ave, Seattle, before family and friends October 29, 2011. The event brought a bit of Hollywood to the Northwest.

The bridesmaids were Amity Egge, Alexandra Egge Nelson, Lauren Gerr, Melissa Vallo, Jody Saltzman, Suzy Lequeux. Maid of honor was Julie Hunt and the junior bridesmaids were Aaliyah and Kierra Robinson,

Groomspersons were Austin Murphy, Christian Nelson, Jordan Rosenberg, Quinn Alexander. Best men were Josh Freeman and Tomer Tal,

Lena Wangerin was the flower girl.

The bride, who grew up in Woodinville and is the daughter of Jon Egge and Deanna Sundvick, now resides in Los Angeles with her husband Jed, a New Jersey native and the son of Irving Freeman and Karen Lasser.

Skogan ~ Bock

Wedding Skogen

In August of 2010, on the island of Crete, during a five- month visit to 16 countries in Central Europe and the Middle East, Anna-Lisa Michelle Skogen received a proposal from Joshua Timothy Bock.

They had met playing soccer in 2003 and started dating in 2004. They still play together on the same team.

On April 30, 2011, Anna-Lisa and Josh were married at the DAR Rainier Chapter House in Seattle. Anna-Lisa is the daughter of Finn and Judy Skogen of Woodinville. Josh is the son of Tim and Nacy Bock of Kent. Honor attendants were Kristina Skogen and Megan Bock, sisters of the bride and groom and Kevin and Brian Skogen, brothers of the bride. The bride is a 1997 graduate of Woodinville High School and a 2001 graduate of Western Washington University. She works as an accountant at Slalom in Seattle. Josh is a 1994 graduate of Kentwood High School in Kent and a 1999 graduate of the University of Washington. He works as a developer at Ascentium in Bellevue. They live in Bellevue.

Egge - Nelson

Wedding Egge1On a beautiful afternoon on August 6, Alexander Elizabeth Egge was married to Christian Richard Nelson at Fireseed, Whidbey Island, before family and friends.

The bridesmaids were Amanda Egge, Jen Maples, Ashley Wismiller, Amity Egge, Jen Ng and maid-of-honor Allison Uhlorn. Junior bridesmaids were Ella and Katie Nelson and Sammie Kuhia.Groomspersons were Alex Franks, Magnus Altmayer, Val Nelson, Jed Lasser, Meryl Farrar and best man was Jake Menashe.

Haley Hunt and Grace Acarregui were flower girls.

The bride, who grew up in Woodinville, is the daughter of Jon Egge and Deanna Sunvick and now resides in Santa Cruz with her husband Christian, a Yakima native and the son of Rod Nelson and Lani Swanhart.

Katharine Seip and Patrick Cammack

Wedding_SeipKatharine Seip and Patrick Cammack are now at home in New York City following their marriage on May 28 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Atlanta, Georgia. Witnessing the marriage were the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Seip of Woodinville; brother, Carl Seip, Washington, D.C.; the groom’s parents, Dr. and Mrs. Paul Cammack of Montgomery, Alabama; his sister Monica of New Orleans, Louisiana; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Emerson, Troy, Alabama. The Very Rev. James Schillinger, a friend of the groom, performed the Mass and Rite of Marriage.

Following the ceremony, a wedding dinner was held at Bacchanalia restaurant in Atlanta. Relatives and friends celebrated with the couple at parties hosted in Montgomery, Alabama; Woodinville, Washington; New York City and New Orleans.

Kate is a research scientist at The Rockefeller University in New York City. The groom is employed as Strategic Research Analyst with Toyota Motor Sales in New York City, while attending graduate school in urban planning at New York University.
