Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas has recognized Adele Elmenhurst of Woodinville, for being recently named to the Dean's List for the fall semester, which ended in December.

EvergreenHealth Appoints Todd Banks to the Health System’s Board of Commissioners

EvergreenHealth’s Board of Commissioners formally voted this week to approve the appointment of Todd Banks of Woodinville to represent the community at-large on the health system’s seven-member governing board.

Banks is president and general manager of the long-standing, family-owned Kenmore Air company. He brings a wealth of professional expertise and community involvement experience that will serve EvergreenHealth in advancing its vision to create an inclusive community health system that is the most trusted source for health care solutions.

Prior to joining the Board of Commissioners, Banks was named to EvergreenHealth’s Strategic Planning and Construction Committee, where he has served as a community member volunteer since 2015. In addition, he has served as a school board director for the Northshore School District, a board member of the Washington State Aerospace Futures Alliance and has been part of the Woodinville Rotary, the Kenmore Economic Development Committee, as well as other community organizations.

He earned a degree in economics from the University of Oregon and is a lifelong Northwest resident, currently residing on the Eastside with his wife and three children.

A total of 2,983 Washington students studying at Central Washington University have qualified for the 2018 fall quarter honor roll. CWU undergraduate students who earn a 3.5 or better grade point average, on a 4.0 scale, while carrying at least 12 graded credit hours of study are eligible for the honor roll.
Local students named to the CWU honor roll are Emily Adair, Erick Epley, Catherine Janiszewski, Trevor Michael Johnson, Renae Neifert and Samuel Viebrock. 
Belmont University Announces Fall 2018 Dean’s List

Woodinville Native Eva Sullivan Involved in College Theatre Production

Woodinville native Eva Sullivan was part of the annual Instant Play Festival at Whitman College in Walla Walla, Washington. Students wrote fourteen brand new ten-minute plays as the culmination of a series of workshops taken with professional playwrights, and the campus community came together to bring them to life in a joyful celebration of collaboration, and imagination. The first show of the 2018-19 season, the Instant Play Festival was produced by Professor Kristen Kosmas and ran from September 22-23 on the Alexander Stage.
