20180301 092631fmMargaret Guo, a student at Inglemoor High School, served as a page in the Washington State House of Representatives. Sponsored by State Rep. Roger Goodman (D-Kirkland), Margaret Name is the daughter of Xiaohong Zhang and Xin Guo of Redmond.  Pages perform a wide variety of responsibilities, from presenting the flags to distributing amendments on the House floor. In addition to contributing to the efficient operation of the Legislature, pages receive daily civics instruction, draft their own bills, and participate in mock committee hearings.  Margaret is on the cross country and track team at her high school. She has played piano for seven years. Margaret applied to the Page Program to learn more about the legislature and to explore possible career options.

Boston University awarded academic degrees to the following Bothell residents:  Veena Rajapalayam Velayutham Nagarajan, Master of Science in Computer Information Systems; Alexandra M. Scheck, Master of Social Work in Social Work.   
Three Bothell residents have recently been named to the Dean's List at Boston University for the Fall semester.  Students recognized for this honor include: Katherine M. Christianson, Alina R. Shaikh, Kathleen M. Snook.                                               
Julia Koyfman of Woodinville has been named to Purchase College's (Purchase, NY) Dean's List for the  fall  2017  semester. Koyfman is studying Playwriting and Screenwriting.
Skylar Hein of Bothell named to St. Lawrence University's (Canton, NY) Dean's List for academic achievement during the Fall 2017 semester.  Hein is a member of the Class of 2021 and attended Woodinville High School.
The following students at the Rochester Institute of Technology (Rochester, NY) made the Dean's List for the fall semester: JoHanna Flahiff of Bothell, who is in the industrial design program and Max Coppock of Mill Creek, who is in the human-centered computing program.
Woodinville resident Abigale Purvis received Academic Honors at Northeastern University (Boston, Mass.) for the fall semester.
Woodinville residents Igor Persky and Laura Mathisen announce the birth of their daughter Alexandra Quinn Mathisen.  She was born January 18 2018.
