Have you ever wanted to be an art collector? Or you may simply want to give the most coveted and unique gifts this holiday season. You can find painting, glass, textiles, ceramics, jewelry and more, and nothing over $100.
South Park Arts presents Art Under $100 is a genuinely affordable art sale coming December 16th. Now in its 13th year, this event is both a rite of passage for new artists and an annual favorite for veterans. These artists are challenged to create amazing art that’s accessible to all.
And Art Under $100 is not a stuffy, refined affair. It’s an absolute blast. There’s an ongoing raffle, adult beverages, a live DJ, food trucks, and The Makery, a mobile art lab powered by love and recycled materials.
A long-time patron, Lora Suggs said: AU100 started small, but right out of the gate it was packed to the rafters, magical, delightful, transformative, super fun.
It brings beautiful art to people who would otherwise not be exposed, let alone afford.
Traditionally, the crowds can be large early in the day, so the VIP hour from 1-2 is a luxurious crowd-free shopping option with chocolate and champagne. A minimum $20 donation guarantees one of the limited spots. All proceeds benefit all-volunteer South Park Arts.
