St. Patty's Day 5K: Grab Your Green!

  • Written by Woodinville Weekly Staff
Saturday March 16th at Wilmot Park local neighbors and community will gather to celebrate St. Patricks Day and compete in a 5K. The Woodinville Leprechaun Leap is a family friendly event to promote fitness and help raise funds and awareness for Health and Hope Foundation.
The Leprechaun Leap 5K begins on the Burke Gilman Trail at Wilmot Park. This flat, fast 3.1-mile course is ideal for all abilities from serious runner looking to PR to families enjoying a healthy, fun, and meaningful activity.  Strollers and dogs are welcome, and costumes encouraged.  Come early for face painting, a chance to talk with Ireland’s Marathon Olympian Regina Joyce, and our pre-race costume parade!
Health & Hope Foundation is an all-volunteer local non-profit.  Volunteers provide dental, vision, and medical care via portable healthcare clinics to impoverished villagers of Tanzania who lack access to these services.
Make sure you come decked out in green and prepare for lots of family fun!
