‘A Celtic Christmas’ at NPAC

The beauty of a simpler holiday comes to Northshore Performing Arts Center (18125 92nd Ave. NE, Bothell) on Sunday, December 19, at 7 p.m, when a world-class ensemble of musicians, dancers, and singers takes the stage. Tomáseen Foley’s “A Celtic Christmas” has played to packed concert halls and critical acclaim nationwide for the past thirteen years. This year the Northshore community joins this celebration of Irish tradition. Ticket prices are adult $25, senior $22 and $15 for youth under age 17. • East County Senior Center is holding their annual Holiday Craft Fair and Bazaar on Saturday, December 11, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There will be handmade items, homemade crafts, jewelry, wooden items, holiday decorations and more.

Cabbage patch soup and sandwiches will be for sale at lunchtime. The bake sale will benefit the senior center.

• Crystal Springs Community of Christ invites everyone to a free pancake breakfast Saturday Dec. 11 from 9 to 11a.m. at 20012 Filbert Drive, Bothell.

Please bring donations and non- perishable food items to support hopelink.

• On Saturday, December 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Adopt A Stream Foundation will be "renting" a selection of live 5-foot and under Sitka spruce, western red cedar and Douglas fir trees from the NW Stream Center (McCollum Park, 600 128th Street SE, Everett) for you to enjoy during the holiday season. Then, after you take down your decorations, return the tree to the NW Stream Center and the Adopt A Stream Foundation will put your tree to use next spring restoring stream banks and protecting salmon habitat.

The trees rent for $20 with a $10 refundable return deposit.

Return drop off is from 8 a.m. To 4 p.m. Jan. 3-7. Everyone who returns their tree on or before January 7 will receive their deposit plus an annual Adopt A Stream Foundation membership. For more information go to www.streamkeeper.org To reserve a tree in advance, call (425) 316-8592.
