Radio Duvall nearly ready to launch

It’s music, wine, food and fun for all with KRDI Radio Duvall 103.1 on Sunday, Feb. 21, 1 – 4 p.m. at Match Coffee and Wine in Duvall. The radio station is just one tower away from being on the air with news, community events and information, traffic updates and your favorite music! Join the DJs, the engineers, the promo team and the news folks with an afternoon of music by the Poindexters, wine, coffee, food and desserts. Open to the public and to all ages. The music is free, but there’s a cost for food and drinks, with Match giving a portion of the proceeds to Radio Duvall to purchase a broadcast tower.

Remember to Dance: Dancing to find a cure for Alzheimer’s

RememberToDance.org presents the annual Alzheimer’s benefit dance on Feb. 28 from 1-4 p.m. at Leota Jr. High School. The benefit has been organized by Joe Bahr, a King Country Metro bus driver, brother of the late Marty Bahr, who died of early onset Alzheimer’s in 2008.
