Duvall Foundation for the Arts presents ‘Hoedown’ for the Community Art Center

The Duvall Foundation for the Arts presents “Hoedown” to support the Community Art Center on Saturday, Nov. 7, 6 to 9 p.m.
Adults: $20
Kids 12+: $10
Kids 3 – 11: $5

You won’t want to miss bidding on the silent auction! Trips, wine, luxury baskets, and more! Come early, first table bidding closes at 7 p.m. All proceeds benefit Duvall’s future Community Art Center.

Duvall Creative Arts Guild announces 1st Public Art Show

The Duvall Creative Arts Guild is hosting its first Art Show and Sale on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 5-9 p.m. at the Northwest Art Center in Duvall, at 15705 Main St. NE.
The event marks the public debut of the guild, which launched in January 2015.  
The show will be a celebration with local wine and cheese, desserts, live music, and plenty of chat time with the artists.

The event is free and open to the public.

“The Duvall Creative Arts Guild is comprised of eight local artists who create together while experiencing community and cross-pollination,” said Deborah Neal, guild director. “Built on a unique model, the guild is capped at eight artists and is an intimate haven where each artist can deepen the mystery of her work.”

Halloween in Duvall: Kids party and trick or treating

In addition to the annual trick-or-treating event, Duvall businesses will be hosting a Kids Halloween Party at the Duvall Visitor Center.

For trick-or-treating, those businesses located in Duvall (this includes Main St, 1st Avenue, Valley Street, Brown Avenue, Copperhill Square and Safeway Plaza) that are opening their doors to little costumed angels and superheroes will display a large orange pumpkin sign in their window.

Businesses will be open for trick-or-treating during the hours of 3-6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31.
The Kids Halloween Party will be at the Duvall Visitor Center on Saturday, Oct. 31, from 3-6 p.m.

Fall has arrived and that means it’s time to head to “The Pumpkin Capital of the Northwest” to find the perfect pumpkin!
Share a tradition cherished by countless Puget Sound families. The fall festivities began on September 26 and run through Halloween.  Over 220,000 visitors each year will tell you it’s a lot more than just pumpkins!
