Northshore Wranglers to host dance and social

Dance takes place on Nov. 20 from 6 - 8 p.m. A DJ will play music. Dress is casual. Dance is open to individuals of all abilities. Event is for ages 14-plus. 1:1 caregivers are admitted free. Cost is $15 or l hour DDA. Light snack will be available. Dance will take place at the Adult Day Center, part of the Health and Wellness Complex at 10201 East Riverside Dr., Bothell. Helping horses in a ‘bazaar’ way

NWESC is a 501(c)3 organization that focuses on professional level equine rehabilitation (including veterinary care, farrier and training.) In conjunction with local rescue agencies, NWESC has helped hundreds of horses recover from neglect and abuse, but it needs your support to continue its lifesaving work. For the severely neglected and abused horses NWESC cares for daily, treatment costs can be tremendously high.

Learn how to join the DAR at the Woodinville Heritage Museum

Have you ever wondered if you were eligible to join the Daughters of the American Revolution? Are you eligible, and wondering what you need to do to join? On Nov. 21, the Susan Woodin Chapter is hosting a DAR Application Basics workshop that will answer all your questions!

The workshop was designed by DAR’s National officers to help prospective members understand the basics of filling out a DAR application, in an informative and interactive format. The program will be held at the Woodinville Heritage Museum at 1 p.m. It is open to the public and free of charge.

Garden d’Lights 2015 at the Bellevue Botanical Garden

The 21st annual Garden d’Lights event at the Bellevue Botanical Garden will kick off Saturday, Nov. 28 and run through Saturday, Jan. 2, every evening from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m., including holidays.

This year, the event is bigger, better and brighter than ever! Expect to see both exciting new additions and long-time favorites, as well as a new and improved route through the light displays. Also new this year is a ticket booth to make entry into the event quick and easy.

Tickets are $5 per person, and children under 10 get in free. Tickets can be purchased immediately and ahead of time online at, or at the ticket booth on the day of the event.
