Salmon in the Forest: film screening and tour

What: Salmon in the Forest includes a 45-minute film narrated by Dr. David Suzuki called “The Salmon Forest” and a naturalist-led interpretive tour of the new NW Stream Center Elevated Nature Walk.
When: Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 10 a.m.; Wednesday, Sept. 23 at 4 p.m.; Thursday, Sept. 24 at 2 p.m.
Who: This event is geared for seventh graders to adults; each event is limited 30 participants.
Where: NW Stream Center in Snohomish County’s McCollum Park, 600 128th Street SE, Everett. A link to detailed driving directions is available at  www.streamkeeper.org/aasf/Contact.html.
Costs: $7 for Adopt A Stream Foundation members; $10 non-members

Tsuga Fine Art hosts free watercolor exhibit

This fall, local watercolorist Charlene Collins Freeman will be featured in a solo exhibition at TSUGA Fine Art & Framing, located on Main Street in downtown Bothell.

“Beauty Everywhere” is a celebration of the small things in life — a hummingbird alighting on a flower, the reflections in a shop window, the gentle cascade of early morning light filtering through an old European alleyway.

Join Homeward Pet Adoption Center as it hosts the third annual Happy Tails Wine Walk fundraiser on Saturday, Sept. 19 from 1-5 p.m.

Bring family and friends — even your four-legged friend! — for a brisk hike or leisurely stroll through Woodinville’s unique Hollywood Wine District. Visit more than 18 participating wineries to sip samples and purchase bottles of local wines — all to benefit the homeless dogs and cats at Homeward Pet! Then, take a break to enjoy delicious food from some of Woodinville’s finest eateries.

Muddy Mutt: a day of fun for humans and dogs

Bring your furry friend and join us for a super fun and exciting day at the third Muddy Mutt event at Camp Korey in Carnation!

Come play, stroll, walk or run around our one-of-a-kind event through dog-themed parks, lakes, optional obstacles and our infamous mud pit. We have complimentary dog bathing, although getting muddy is optional.
