Dick passed away August 19, 2017 at the age of 78 after a valiant battle with kidney disease. Dick and his parents, Morris and Geneva Strahm Broderson were longtime residents of Woodinville. He was the oldest of four siblings; John (Loi) Broderson from Sandpoint, ID, Leonard (Dana) Broderson from Athol, Idaho, and Gordon Broderson (deceased). Dick kept in close touch with classmates from Bothell High School. After retirement from UW and Builders Hardware, he was an avid golfer and model aeronautics pilot. He also enjoyed hunting, travel, motorcycle touring and cross-country skiing. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Claudia, daughters Cheryl Broderson and Denise Morton, grandsons Joshua Redding and Andrew
Schukar (Kristina), granddaughter Melissa Morton and great grandsons Colton and Von Schukar.
A celebration of life will be planned for a later date. Memorials can be sent to Puget Sound Kidney Center of Monroe, Regency Care Facility of Monroe or the Snohomish Fire Dept.
