Harry O Porter, February 12, 1928-September 22, 2017

Obit PorterHarry was born in San Jose, California to Harry and Pauline Porter (deceased). They moved to Washington state when Harry was six years old. Here he met his spouse, built their family, and enjoyed an active lifestyle. He was a long time resident of the Bothell area, an avid card player, fisherman, airplane enthusiast, and gadget collector. Guests entered his home as friends, and left as family- often newly well versed in all things planes and trains.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years Vivian (Tootie), children: Harry (Mary), Tom (Leslie), Jeff (Vivian) and Sharon (Mike), and a lively combination of 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Harry worked as a diesel mechanic for many years, retiring from the Northshore school district after serving as groundskeeper. Harry was a beloved member of the Woodinville United Methodist Church-often observed in lively conversation with guests and friends alike.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 30th, 2017 at Woodinville United Methodist Church.
