obit polandHelen M Poland, age 90 passed away at Regency Care Center in Monroe, Wash. on October 31, 2017.

Helen retired from FoxMeyer Drug in Cincinnati, Ohio.  While she lived in Covington, KY she was a volunteer at St. Elizabeth Hospital.  Helen enjoyed those golden years traveling, gardening and volunteering with friends and neighbors who needed help, that was her spirit of life.    Helen moved to Florida where she resided for six years and then relocated to Woodinville, Wash. in 2005 where she made many new friends at Greenbrier Senior Heights.  Helen will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her, she always made people laugh and she was always there to help family and friends.

Helen was preceded by her parents: Richard I Bell, Sr. and Mollie Bell, three sisters and four brothers, husband Woodrow Poland, and daughter Joyce Boston.  Helen leaves behind son Don Bell (The Woodlands, TX), daughter Beverly Jane Fackelmann (Woodinville WA) also three grandsons Brian Fackelmann (WA), Derek Boston (SC), Michael Boston (OH) , and two granddaughters: Audrey Paul (FL) and Lisa Buchanan (CA) as well as seven great grandchildren Brandon, Bridgette, Damian Buchanan, Landon, Gianna and Eyla Boston, Grayson Boston and sister Esther Gottfried (Seymour, IN).

Helen will return to Covington, KY, for her final resting place at Highland Cemetery.
