Nancy C. Marshall passed away Saturday July, 14th at the young age of 65.

Nancy was born February 24, 1947 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Jack and Jaqueline Jacobsen. Her father was in the Army giving the family an opportunity to live in many places including cities in France and San Francisco, California before settling down in the Pacific Northwest in the early 1960’s. Nancy graduated in 1965 from Lakes High School in Tacoma and attended some college courses before working in retail.

In 1967 she married the love of her life, Leslie Lou Marshall of Snohomish. In 1968 they were blessed with the arrival of twin boys, Richard and Robert and raised them in the town of Clearview where they had their home for over 30 years. In addition to being a wonderful wife and mother, Nancy also worked in retail at The Bon Marche (now Macy’s) as a makeup artist at the Everett Mall, as an aide with the Snohomish School District, as well as a part-time waitress at Petosa’s in Snohomish. A warm smile, an unforgettable laugh and a passion for people made her successful in all of these roles.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father, Jack Jacobsen, her brother, Mark Jacobsen and her husband, Leslie Lou Marshall. She is survived by her mother, Jacqueline Jacobsen, her brother, Paul Jacobsen, her twin sons, Robert Marshall and Richard (Candy) Marshall and her three cherished grandsons, Mitchell, Blake and Hayden. Her love for family and friends extends to everyone who has ever met her.

A Celebration of Life was held on Sunday, July 22nd. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your favorite charity or to the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center in her name.
